Honkai Star Rail Next Banner: One Pity, Nine 5-Stars

Honkai Star Rail Next Banner: One Pity Counter, Nine 5-Stars, Six Weeks

Version 4.6’s banners close on November 10, 2026, at 15:00 server time, and Version 4.7 opens immediately after. What arrives is unusual enough that the standard “who should I pull for” framing does not work. 4.7 puts nine different 5-star characters in front of you across six weeks, and you have one pity counter to spread across all of them. Aeon ★ Aha runs for the entire version rather than a single phase. Two multi-character banners each offer three returning 5-stars with one designated pick. And HoYoverse is handing out a free 5-star that happens to be one of three characters appearing on Phase 2’s own banner.

Which turns this into an allocation problem rather than a wish list. So that is how this is written: the schedule, the exact timing, the free-pick overlap that makes half the lineup a trap, the pity arithmetic, and where each pull should go.

Version 4.7 Dates 5-Stars 4-Stars
Aeon ★ Aha, “A Comedy of Stars” Nov 10 – Dec 22 Nihilux – Aha Asta, Lynx, Yukong
Indelible Coterie Part 1 Nov 10 – Dec 2 Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, Yao Guang Asta, Lynx, Yukong
Indelible Coterie Part 2 Dec 2 – Dec 22 Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Jing Yuan Asta, Lynx, Yukong

Light Cones follow the same split: Upon the First Echo of “Aha” on Aha’s warp, then Welcome to the Cosmic City, Dazzled by a Flowery World and When She Decided to See in Part 1, and Along the Passing Shore, Brighter Than the Sun and Before Dawn in Part 2.

The Timing, Precisely

Worth being exact, because trackers disagree by a day and the reason is server regions. Version 4.6’s banners – Pearl (“An Ocean in a Pearl”) and Mortenax Blade (“Now I Am Become Blade”) – end November 10 at 15:00 server time, along with their Light Cones, Colors for Tomorrow and Reforged in Hellfire.

Converted, that is:

  • Asia (GMT+8): 07:00 UTC.
  • Europe (GMT+1): 14:00 UTC.
  • America (GMT-5): 20:00 UTC.

So depending where your account sits, 4.7 begins late on November 10 or early on November 11. Fan-wiki estimates put the opening around 03:00 UTC. If you are planning a last-minute pull on Pearl or Mortenax Blade, work from your own region rather than from a headline date.

The Phase 2 swap happens December 2 – Part 1 ends at 11:59 server time and Part 2 opens at 12:00, which is 04:00 UTC in Asia, 11:00 in Europe and 17:00 in America. Everything closes December 22 at 15:00 server time.

One caveat on Phase 2: the Acheron, Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan lineup is listed by trackers and leak aggregators rather than confirmed by HoYoverse. It is consistent across sources, and it is not official.

What You Lose on November 10

Before planning six weeks ahead, there is a deadline behind you rather than in front. Pearl and Mortenax Blade both leave at 15:00 server time on November 10, and so do their signature Light Cones. Pearl’s banner, “An Ocean in a Pearl,” has been running since September 27 – a long window, which is why it is easy to assume it will still be there tomorrow. Mortenax Blade’s rerun, “Now I Am Become Blade,” opened on October 21 and has had only three weeks.

A rerun’s return date is never announced. Mortenax Blade waited through several versions for this one, and Indelible Coterie’s own history is instructive – it ran in 4.4, vanished for two entire versions, and only reappeared now.

So the order of operations for the next five days is: decide on Pearl and Mortenax Blade first, because that choice expires, and only then start thinking about Aha. Anything you were undecided about becomes a question for an unknown future patch the moment that clock hits 15:00.

The Fate collaboration banners – Saber, Archer, Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh – are listed with no announced end date, so those are not on the same timer.

The Honkai Star Rail Next Banner Trap Nobody Flags

Here is the single most important planning fact in this version, and most schedule posts skip it entirely. There is a free 5-star pick, and the options are Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan. Those are the exact three characters on Phase 2’s Indelible Coterie banner.

The free pick comes with 20 Special Passes and runs through December 23 at 05:59 UTC+8. Which means that if you spend pulls on Phase 2 hoping for one of those three, there is a meaningful chance you are paying pity for a character you could simply be handed.

The sensible readings of that:

  • If you want exactly one of the three, take the free pick and skip Phase 2 entirely. Put every pull into Aha instead, who runs the whole version.
  • If you want two of the three, take one free and pull for the other – but understand the 50/50 means that second one can cost up to 180 pulls.
  • If you want none of the three, the free pick is still free. Take whichever is least useless and bank the 20 passes.
  • Claim it before December 23, because the deadline sits one day after the version ends and is easy to miss during a patch changeover.

Aha is not one of the free options. That is the whole point of the design – the giveaway is steering you toward spending your actual pulls on the new Aeon.

How Indelible Coterie Works

A format worth understanding, since it has only appeared once before. Indelible Coterie is a multi-character banner. Rather than one featured 5-star, it presents three returning 5-stars and you designate one of them as the featured character for your warps. Coalesced Truths applies the identical format to Light Cones.

Its history is short: it ran in Version 4.4, was absent from 4.5 and 4.6, and now returns for both phases of 4.7.

Two consequences:

  • It is efficient if you want one specific older character. You are not waiting for a rerun slot to come around; you simply designate them.
  • It is dangerous if you are indecisive. You pick one. The other two are not on your banner, however much the splash art suggests otherwise.

The featured 4-stars across both phases are Asta, Lynx and Yukong, according to the fan wiki and Game8 – the official slides do not name them, so treat that as community-sourced.

The Pity Arithmetic

The numbers that actually govern your planning, and the detail that catches people every version. All Character Event Warps share one pity counter and one 50/50 guarantee. That progress carries across phases, across versions, and across Aha’s warp. Pulling on Indelible Coterie Part 1 advances your counter toward Aha. There is no separating them.

  • Base 5-star rate: 0.6%.
  • Hard pity: guaranteed 5-star at pull 90.
  • Featured chance: 50%. Lose the 50/50 and your next 5-star is guaranteed featured.
  • Worst case for one specific character: 180 pulls.
  • Light Cone Event Warps: separate counter, 80-pull hard pity, 75% featured rate.
  • Stellar Warp: separate pool and separate pity.

That shared counter is why 4.7 is an allocation problem. Nine 5-stars are on offer and your pity does not care which banner you spent it on. Every ten-pull on a rerun is a ten-pull closer to Aha, which cuts both ways – it means nothing is wasted, and it also means a scattered approach gets you a random one of nine rather than the one you wanted.

If You Want Do This
Aha specifically Take the free pick, skip both Coterie phases, bank everything for Aha’s six-week window
One older character from Phase 2 Take them free. Spend nothing on Phase 2
Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie or Yao Guang Phase 1 is your only route – they are not in the free pick
Two Phase 2 characters One free, pull for the other, budget up to 180
A specific Light Cone Remember the separate 80-pull counter and the 75% rate
To not think about it Claim the free 5-star, then stop reading schedules

Aha, and What an Aeon on a Banner Means

The headline act, and the reason the rest of the version is arranged around it.

Aha is a new Elation 5-star, with the Light Cone Upon the First Echo of “Aha.” Leak aggregators list the element as Quantum and the Path as Elation; the Path is consistent with HoYoverse’s own statement that Aha will boost the Path of Elation for Elation characters, which is the kind of support function that tends to matter for a long time rather than one patch.

Two structural points about the banner itself:

  • It runs the entire version, November 10 to December 22. No phase split. That is six weeks of availability, which removes the usual urgency and is a genuine kindness – you can watch the first reviews, see how the kit performs, and still pull.
  • Aha is excluded from the free pick. An Aeon is not being given away.

The leaked identification worth noting with caution: one aggregator suggests Aha may be the playable form of “Nihilux,” which matches the banner’s listed name of Nihilux – Aha. That is community inference rather than confirmation.

Honkai Star Rail Next Banner Leaks Past 4.7

Clearly separated, because almost nothing here is official.

Version 4.8 is the firmest of the lot. HoYoverse has confirmed a Zenless Zone Zero collaboration featuring Ellen and Astra Yao, with Ellen listed as Ice on the Path of the Hunt and Astra Yao as Quantum on Harmony. No date has been announced. Game8 estimates a December 22 start with Ellen in Phase 1 and Astra Yao in Phase 2, and another tracker projects around December 23 – both explicitly estimates. Ellen is rumoured to be free or easy to obtain, with Astra Yao on a limited banner.

Beyond that, every entry is community leak:

  • 5.0 – Firefly SP, likely Path of Finality, and Misha SP, likely Destruction.
  • 5.1 – Polka Kakamond, with reports split between Erudition and Nihility.
  • 5.2 – Kafka SP, likely Finality, and Obsidian, described as a member of the Ten Stonehearts.
  • 5.3 – Dan Heng SP, a new alternate form, and Xuanquan making a playable debut.
  • 5.4 – March 7th SP, another alternate version.

A warning about the quality of that roadmap. The aggregator carrying it contradicts itself: its FAQ lists Phase 2’s reruns as Phainon, Cyrene and Castorice, while its own body text lists Acheron, Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan. It also calls the ZZZ collaboration confirmed in one section and the same era unconfirmed in another. The broad shape – a wave of SP alternate forms opening the 5.x era – is plausible and widely repeated. Specific names and pairings are not reliable enough to plan a pull budget around.

The Eidolon Cost Nobody Budgets For

One last number, because it changes what “saving” means.

Affinitive Eidolons cost 1,600 and 3,200 Resonance. You earn 16 Resonance per Special Pass spent on Event Warps, which works out to 100 passes for the first and 200 for the second.

So the real cost of a full investment is not the 90 or 180 pulls to land the HSR character. It is those pulls plus the Resonance economy running underneath them, and the 20 free passes that arrive with the free 5-star pick are a small but real contribution toward it.

FAQ

When is the next Honkai Star Rail banner?

Version 4.6’s banners end November 10, 2026 at 15:00 server time, and Version 4.7 opens immediately after – which lands on November 10 or 11 depending on your region. It runs to December 22.

Who is on the 4.7 banners?

Aeon ★ Aha for the whole version, plus Indelible Coterie Part 1 with Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie and Yao Guang from November 10 to December 2, and Part 2 with Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan from December 2 to December 22.

Is there a free 5-star in 4.7?

Yes. You can claim one of Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae or Jing Yuan along with 20 Special Passes, through December 23 at 05:59 UTC+8. Aha is not among the options.

Does pity carry over between the banners?

Yes. All Character Event Warps share a single pity counter and 50/50 guarantee, carrying across phases, versions and Aha’s warp. Light Cone warps have their own 80-pull counter at a 75% featured rate.

How does Indelible Coterie work?

It is a multi-character banner presenting three returning 5-stars, from which you designate one as your featured character. It previously ran in Version 4.4 and appears in both 4.7 phases.

What is Aha?

A new Elation 5-star with the Light Cone Upon the First Echo of “Aha.” HoYoverse has said Aha boosts the Path of Elation for Elation characters, and leaks list the element as Quantum.

What is coming in 4.8?

A confirmed Zenless Zone Zero collaboration with Ellen and Astra Yao, with no official date. Estimates point to around December 22 or 23, but those are tracker projections rather than announcements.

Spend It on the Aeon

Strip away the nine portraits and 4.7 reduces to one decision. You have one pity counter. There are nine 5-stars. Three of them are available free, one of them is the version’s headline act and cannot be, and the three on Phase 1 are the only ones that genuinely require pulls if older characters are what you are after.

Which makes the efficient plan almost embarrassingly simple. Claim the free 5-star before December 23. Skip Phase 2, because you are being handed a third of it. Put your passes into Aha, who sits there for six full weeks so you can wait for the reviews. Dip into Phase 1 only if Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie or Yao Guang is the specific character you have been waiting on, since nothing else in the version offers them.

And treat the 5.0-through-5.4 roadmap as entertainment. The source carrying it disagrees with itself about this version’s own Phase 2, which is not a document to build a six-month savings plan around.

Six weeks, one Aeon, one free pick. Easiest version to plan in a while.
